Clarithromycin is indicated in monotherapy and combination regimens for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria such as:
Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis; Lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia; Skin and soft tissue infections; Disseminated or localized infections caused by Mycobacterium strains; In combination with other antibiotics and inhibitors of gastric acid secretion in the treatment of HP bacteria.
