However, since the creation of this valve, my symptoms are worse than before, such as swallowing, getting stuck in my throat, I eat 1 spoonful of rice and I also have a bloated stomach like a ball, feeling very uncomfortable after eating. If the case is recent surgery, it may be due to narrowing of the esophagus because the valve is made too tight. This condition is usually caused by temporary narrowing of the esophagus because of inflammation or edema. You can be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, swelling, edema. However, if the condition persists, you may need endoscopic dilation of the esophagus. You will need to see your surgeon again for a more thorough examination.
