Hello. Inflammatory appendicitis has many forms: acute appendicitis, focal peritonitis, generalized peritonitis, appendicitis, and appendiceal abscess. The patient was treated with aspiration and antibiotics to treat appendicitis abscess. Stable patients will be discharged from the hospital and there is no indication for surgery. Currently, the patient still has an appendix and has 2 options:
Planned appendectomy Surgery to remove the appendix when inflammation is present.
