What does the Hepatitis B Anti HBsAb 159 IU/ml test result mean?

Question
Hello doctor,
6 months ago I was exposed to the blood of someone with hepatitis B. I just got tested, got negative results and had Anti HBsAb reaching the threshold of 159 IU/ml but I still see palms, eyes, and ginseng yellow urine. In particular, yellow palms appear more in the afternoon and early morning. Doctor let me ask, what does Anti HBsAb test result 159 IU/ml mean?

Hello,
To the question "What does the test result for Hepatitis B Anti HBsAb 159 IU/ml mean?", the doctor would like to answer as follows:
Hepatitis B is an infectious disease caused by a virus. hepatitis B. Hepatitis B is the leading cause of liver failure, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Hepatitis B is transmitted by blood, sex, and mother and child. You have tested and have high HBsAb antibodies. That means you already have antibodies against hepatitis B. You should consult your doctor to find the cause of your jaundice (hepatitis A, C, hemolytic jaundice...).
If you still have questions about testing for hepatitis B, you can go to a hospital of Vinmec Health System for further testing and advice. Thank you for trusting and sending questions to Vinmec. Wishing you lots of health.
Best regards!
