Does removing the infected tooth pulp heal the pain?

Question
I have tooth decay in the pulp. If I go to get infected tooth pulp, will the pain go away? Looking forward to consulting. I would like to thank you.

Hello!
If your tooth has been deeply rooted in the pulp, you will be treated according to the most suitable procedures. Infected pulp is usually treated with a root canal procedure, also known as endodontic treatment. The first step is a pulpectomy, where infected pulp tissue is removed from inside the tooth. The dentist will clean the pulp chamber and root canal and fill it with a filling. The final step is to seal the tooth to prevent bacteria from entering. You can then choose a suitable material as a crown to protect the tooth and restore its anatomical shape to restore aesthetic function and chewing.
Currently, in large hospitals with good facilities, modern endodontic treatment methods will be used to treat the tooth pulp, so you will not feel much pain.
Tooth decay needs to be treated early to avoid affecting other teeth or complications to a more severe form. Besides, after root canal treatment, you need to maintain regular dental check-ups every 6 months.
