Having a boss has to remove wisdom teeth?
Question
Hello doctor, I have wisdom teeth in my lower jaw, when I went to the doctor, the doctor said that my gums were covered, my wisdom teeth were straight, but the doctor still ordered both upper and lower wisdom teeth to be extracted because the doctor said that after the gum is cut, the gums will grow back and have to be cut again. May I ask is that correct?

Hi, the indication for wisdom tooth extraction is very broad. In your specific case: The lower wisdom tooth should be extracted if the gums cover or cause you pain, swelling of the face, inflammation, difficulty in oral hygiene and the teeth are difficult to erupt due to jamming. When the lower wisdom tooth has been extracted, the opposite upper wisdom tooth is no longer effective for chewing, the extraction of the opposite wisdom tooth should also be ordered, but the extraction does not need to be done immediately if you are not ready.
