Answer
Hello, to the question: “Is numbness and weakness in the legs a sign of paralysis of the limbs?” The doctor would like to answer as follows:
With the described symptoms of numbness and weakness in both legs, treated but no results, it is best to take your mother to a provincial or central hospital for examination because of the symptoms. This is present in many diseases such as edema (Beriberi), polyneuritis, inflammation of many roots and nerves (Guillain- Barre), diseases of the spinal cord, diabetes,... In addition, signs of Leg paralysis is not clear and polio in the mother's age is rare. Wishing your mother a speedy recovery."
