Or fainting, convulsions, poor memory are due to hyperthyroidism?
Question
The doctor asked me, I have hyperthyroidism, I have been on medication for 10 years, but recently I often faint, have seizures like epilepsy and have poor memory. So, often fainting, convulsions, poor memory is due to hyperthyroidism?

Hello. You didn't say clearly about the most recent thyroid hormone test? If thyroid hormone is within normal limits, you should see a neurologist to determine what the symptoms of fainting, seizures, poor memory are. If the thyroid hormone is not within the normal limits, I will see an endocrinologist again. If you still have questions about "fainting, convulsions, poor memory, is it due to hyperthyroidism? “You can go to the hospitals of Vinmec Health System for more advice from the doctor.
