Treatment of glomerulonephritis

Question
Doctor let me ask: I have a urine test with Proteinuria: 3g/L and treatment with medrol 16mg has reduced, the urine protein and protein test 24h is negative. Then, due to the failure to maintain the dose reduction in prolonged therapy, the proteinuria test was again increased to 1g/L. I switched to prednisone treatment for 4 months, after treatment, the test results came back negative (after waking up at night), sometimes 0.3g/L (when working during the day) and sometimes no patch.
According to some doctors who advised me, my condition is in the form of orthostatic proteinuria. So let me ask if my condition is like that, is there any way to cure it completely? Because I'm young, I'm afraid it will lead to kidney failure in the long run. Seeking advice from a Doctor!

Answer
According to the information you provided above, it is likely that you are suffering from glomerulonephritis with nephrotic syndrome. This is a disease that can be completely cured, but the treatment time must last from 9 months to 1 year or even longer. You can visit and treat by a specialist in internal medicine at Vinmec hospital system nationwide.
When you are on treatment, you must have a monthly check-up to check and evaluate the disease and adjust the dose accordingly. When the disease is completely fine, the nephrologist will decide to stop the treatment and you never decide to stop the drug yourself. Thank you.
