The doctor asked me, I am only 19 years old this year, but I have had sleep paralysis for 2-3 years now and very often. Every night when I sleep, I often see a black shadow coming in to do something to me and I feel like it keeps strangling me, making me unable to breathe. I struggled to keep my eyes open. The day before I went to the doctor, the doctor said it was because of my sleeping position. But now I'm sleeping in the right position. Stress is not too much, why is it that I often suffer these days. But before it was just a black shadow, today I see a human silhouette. Sometimes I even find myself raising my arms and legs in the night and then beating wildly while the people next to me can't see anything. But I have that many times in 1 night. If I don't open my eyes and do something to keep my brain awake, I will continue to suffer like this. I am very worried if the doctor can tell me why and how I can ensure my sleep.
