Hello doctor! I'm 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant, I went for an ultrasound with a nuchal translucency of 1.2 and did a Double test. My result is an increased risk of down, ratio is 1: 172. I have done 1 more NIPT test, but it will take 7 days to get the results. My pregnancy is ivf pregnancy, screened. Doctor let me ask if the rate of my child getting sick is high? That means out of 172 pregnant women of the same age and health status as you, there are 171 pregnant women who give birth to a normal baby. Another pregnant woman gave birth to a baby with Down syndrome. However, this is a screening test, not a definitive diagnostic test. The accuracy of the test is about 80%. About 1 week left until NIPT test results. So, please wait patiently for the results to have a follow-up direction.
