I am 18 weeks pregnant. At 12 weeks pregnant, I had screening tests. At 18 weeks, I had an appointment for antenatal care and received screening results, in which the liver enzyme index was slightly increased compared to the standard:
SGPT (less than 40.0): My result is 54, 3. SGOT (less than 37.0): My result is 40.6. The doctor said that maybe because I took multivitamins for a long time, my liver enzymes increased. I've been taking Elevit since before I was pregnant for 6 months now. So the doctor told me the cause of increased liver enzymes during pregnancy? Does taking vitamins cause me to increase liver enzymes? Please advise, thank you doctor.
