Otipax is a widely used ear drops with ingredients: Phenazone has analgesic, anti-inflammatory effects and lidocaine hydrochloride has anesthetic effect.

Indications: Symptomatic treatment of local pain caused by forms of otitis with intact tympanic membrane: Acute otitis media in the congestive phase, viral otitis with viral bullae, ear pressure trauma for children over 6 months old and adults.
Do not use the drug in the following cases: Perforated eardrum, hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.
Adverse effects are uncommon if the tympanic membrane is not perforated. May experience irritation or congestion of the ear canal.
Dosage and administration: To avoid contact with the cold solution in the ear, warm the vial in the palm of your hand before use. Put 4 drops in the affected ear 2-3 times a day. Use no more than 10 days. After this time, it is necessary to re-evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. If symptoms do not improve, the patient should return to the doctor to re-evaluate the original diagnosis. Absolutely do not arbitrarily adjust the dose or prolong the time of taking the drug without consulting an ear, nose and throat specialist.

For pregnant women: The effectiveness of the drug during pregnancy cannot be predicted because the systemic exposure to phenazone and lidocaine is negligible, the manufacturer still allows Otipax to be used during pregnancy.
For lactating women: Normally, phenazone and lidocaine are not excreted in breast milk, so Otipax can still be used during breastfeeding.
Product storage: At room temperature (maximum temperature 30°C), do not store the medicine in a humid place, with direct light and out of the reach of children.
It is recommended to tighten the cap tightly after use. The drug is in the form of a solution, so it is easy to be degraded and damaged if not stored carefully.
