Ryzodeg 70/30 3ml injection is used to control blood sugar in adults with diabetes. To use the drug safely and effectively, the patient needs to follow the doctor's instructions exactly.

Ryzodeg 70/30 3ml is an injectable medication used to control blood sugar in adults with diabetes.
Ryzodeg injection is a mixture of the following 2 different types of insulin:
70% insulin degludec – “basic” insulin, long acting 30% insulin aspart – “rapid” insulin, with rapid blood sugar lowering effects , immediately after the injection. Therefore, in 10 units of medicine there will be 7 units of insulin degludec and 3 units of insulin aspart.
The drug can be used alone or in combination with oral medications (to treat type 2 diabetes) and fast-acting insulin (to treat type 1 or 2 diabetes).
The drug can be used 1-2 times/day with main meal(s).

Longer-acting and less hypoglycemic:
Among the long-acting insulins, the insulin degludec component in Ryzodeg has the longest-acting, which can be up to 42 hours (insulin detemir about 18 hours) , insulin glargine about 24 hours). In patients at high risk of hypoglycemia, use of insulin degludec reduces symptomatic hypoglycemia compared with insulin glargine. However, the difference in the incidence of severe hypoglycemia is very small. When compared with Novomix (insulin aspart and insulin aspart protamine) twice daily, ryzodeg was also found to reduce the rate of hypoglycaemia. Helps reduce the number of injections:

If you miss a dose, you can still inject the missed dose at the next meal of the day. However, do not inject a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

The drug is for subcutaneous injection only. Do not use for other routes of injection. There are no data on the safety and efficacy of ryzodeg injection in pregnant women. When injecting, it is necessary to rotate the injection site, do not inject the same site to avoid the risk of lipodystrophy. Dose adjustment (increase) of the drug should be made 3 to 4 days after the current dose has been taken to avoid the risk of hypoglycaemia. Unused medicine should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8°C. Medicines in use should be stored at room temperature (below 30°C) or refrigerated and used within 28 days of opening.
