Pharmacodynamics:
Acenews is a mucolytic in a mucolytic manner. It acts on the gel phase of the mucus, reducing the viscosity of sputum in purulent or non-purulent lungs by severing the disulfide bridge in the mucoprotein and facilitating the expulsion of sputum by coughing, postural drainage or by mechanical methods.
Pharmacokinetics:
After oral administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed. The drug has a special affinity for lung tissue and bronchial secretions, thus allowing effective concentrations to be reached 3 hours after dosing.

Acenews drug has the main active ingredient Acetylcysteine. Acetylcysteine ​​is a substance that is able to cut the disulfide bridges linking glycoproteins, thereby dissolving mucus, along with coughing action to expel mucus. In addition, Acetylcysteine ​​also has an antioxidant effect on free radicals generated by infections or from outside through glutathione as its intermediate metabolite, thereby supporting the natural immunity of the respiratory tract. . In particular, it also has the ability to coordinate with antibiotics, making the bactericidal process take place faster. Acetylcysteine ​​is also used to detoxify paracetamol overdose.

Use drugs for the purpose of mucolytic, antibacterial (in combination with specific antibiotics) in respiratory diseases such as pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia with increased mucus secretion. Use medicine to detoxify in case of paracetamol poisoning when overdose.

Acenews is used orally, using about 30-40ml of cooled boiled water or filtered water mixed with 1 pack, drink immediately after mixing, the dosage depends on each case as follows:
Mucolytic treatment case
Children over 14 years old and adults: 2-3 times a day, 1 pack each time. Children from 6 to 14 years old: 2 times a day, 1 pack each time or 3 times a day, 1/2 pack each time. Children from 2 to 5 years old: Take 2-3 times a day, 1⁄2 sachets each time. In case of treatment of mucus hypersecretion
For children over 6 years old: 3 times a day, 1 pack each time. For children from 2-5 years old: 4 times a day, half a pack each time. In case of paracetamol poisoning
Initially use a dose of 140mg/kg, then take another dose of 70mg/kg every 4 hours and 17 times in a row.
Note: When using this drug to detoxify Paracetamol should be used in the first 8 hours after poisoning, after that time is less effective

Contraindicated for people with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug. Contraindicated in patients with a history of asthma.

During treatment, patients need to comply with the indications, do not arbitrarily increase or decrease the amount of medication taken to be effective. During the treatment period, the patient should limit the maximum amount of food or drink containing alcohol or stimulants. Overdose : Symptoms experienced when a patient is overdosed are often more severe manifestations of undesirable effects. And in the worst case, strange and dangerous symptoms can appear without warning signs.
Treatment: Stop the drug immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Always monitor the patient closely, promptly detect possible bad conditions and quickly bring the patient to a medical facility to ensure patient safety.
Missed dose : If the missed dose is not too far from the correct dose, the patient should take the next dose immediately. In case the missed dose is too long, the patient should take the next dose as usual and continue. Do not take 2 doses.
Do not skip doses more than 2 times in a row.
