1. What is Agipiro?


Agipiro medicine is manufactured by Agimexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Vietnam. Agipiro is a prescription medicine, classified in the group of analgesics, antipyretics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, drugs for the treatment of Gout and osteoarthritis. Agipiro contains Piroxicam as the active ingredient.
Dosage form: Tablets, each containing Piroxicam beta cyclodextrin equivalent to Piroxicam 20mg and other excipients of the manufacturer.
Packing form: Blister of 10 tablets, each box includes 2 blisters and manufacturer's instruction sheet.

2. What does Agipiro do?

Pharmacodynamics: Piroxicam belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with antipyretic and analgesic effects. In addition, Piroxicam also has anti-edema, erythema, tissue proliferation, fever and pain effects in laboratory animals. Piroxicam is effective against all causes of inflammation, inhibits neutrophil aggregation, inhibits the migration of leukocytes to the inflammatory area. At the same time, Piroxicam has the ability to inhibit enzymes released by lysosomes from stimulated leukocytes, inhibit superoxide anion production, and reduce systemic rheumatoid factor production.
Pharmacokinetics:
Absorption: Piroxicam is well absorbed after oral or rectal administration. The rate of absorption is slightly decreased in the presence of food but does not affect the extent of absorption when administered orally. Distribution: High plasma protein binding rate is about 99%. Metabolism: Piroxicam is extensively metabolised by hydroxylation of the pyridyl nucleus of the side branch, followed by conjugation with glucuronic acid. Elimination: Piroxicam is eliminated in the urine, with a plasma half-life of about 50 hours in men.

3. Indications and contraindications of the drug Agipiro


Drug Agipiro is often indicated in the treatment of anti-inflammatory, pain relief in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Gout, ankylosing spondylitis, tendonitis, bursitis, back pain, neuritis, painful swelling, edema after surgery or after trauma.
Contraindications: Absolutely do not use Agipiro in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug Agipiro. Peptic ulcer disease progression. Gastrointestinal bleeding. Severe gastritis. Liver dysfunction. Renal dysfunction. Pregnant. Breastfeeding mothers.

4. Dosage and how to use Agipiro

Dosage:

5. Undesirable effects

7. Some notes when using Agipiro


Before being prescribed Agipiro, tell your doctor if you have the following conditions:

8. Preservation of drugs


Store Agipiro in the original manufacturer's packaging, in a cool, clean place away from direct sunlight, at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep Agipiro out of reach of children and objects. rearing, avoiding them not knowing how to chew can cause serious unwanted effects. Agipiro drugs have a shelf life of 36 months, do not use drugs that have expired or show signs of change in color, properties, taste, no labels.
