1. What is Amfendin?

3. Usage and dosage of Amfendin


3.1 How to use The drug is in the form of film-coated tablets, which should be taken orally. Take this medicine before meals and should not be taken with fruit juices. Amfendin should be taken at least 2 hours apart from antacids containing aluminum or magnesium gels.
3.2 Dosage for Allergic Rhinitis in Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Older: The recommended dose is 1 Amfendin 60 tablet taken twice daily or 1 Amfendin 120 tablet once daily. ; Treatment of idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 12 years of age and older: 180 mg (3 tablets of Amfendin 60) and usually once daily; Patients with hepatic impairment : No dose adjustment is required; Patients with renal insufficiency, the elderly or patients with renal impairment requiring hemodialysis: The recommended dose is one Amfendin 60 mg tablet once daily. 3.3 Overdosage and missed dose Overdose Information on the acute toxicity of fexofenadine hydrochloride is limited. However, if overdosed can cause symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth. High doses above 800mg or continuous use for more than 1 month with doses of 240mg per day may cause an overdose.
