3.1 How to use The drug is in the form of film-coated tablets, which should be taken orally. Take this medicine before meals and should not be taken with fruit juices. Amfendin should be taken at least 2 hours apart from antacids containing aluminum or magnesium gels.
3.2 Dosage for Allergic Rhinitis in Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Older: The recommended dose is 1 Amfendin 60 tablet taken twice daily or 1 Amfendin 120 tablet once daily. ; Treatment of idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 12 years of age and older: 180 mg (3 tablets of Amfendin 60) and usually once daily; Patients with hepatic impairment : No dose adjustment is required; Patients with renal insufficiency, the elderly or patients with renal impairment requiring hemodialysis: The recommended dose is one Amfendin 60 mg tablet once daily. 3.3 Overdosage and missed dose Overdose Information on the acute toxicity of fexofenadine hydrochloride is limited.
