In patients receiving amiodarone, verapamil, amlodipine, and diltiazem concomitantly with Amsibed 20, the dose should not exceed 20 mg daily. Patients with renal impairment: No dose adjustment is required in patients with moderate renal impairment. In patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min), doses greater than 10 mg/day should be considered carefully and, if deemed necessary, used with caution. Elderly: No dose adjustment is required. Children: For children, and adolescents (boys Tanner stage II and older, and girls who have had periods for at least one year, ages 10 to 17) with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia death, the usual recommended initial dose is 10 mg.
