Uses of Bibonlax

Indications
Bibonlax is indicated for use in the following cases:
Treatment of constipation due to causes in the rectal and anal areas. Preparation for colonoscopy. How to use - Dosage
How to use:
The drug is used rectally.
Dosage:
Dosage for adults: Pump 1 tube/day. Take 5 - 20 minutes before the intended time of defecation

Overdose, missed dose and treatment
Overdose:
When overdosing can change from laxative to purgative, it is necessary to stop the drug and use the prescribed dose.
Missed dose:
Medicines are only used when needed, so missed doses almost do not happen.

When using Bibonlax, you may experience unwanted effects (ADRs). Common, ADR > 1/100
Not reported.
Uncommon, 1/1000 < ADR < 1/100
Local: Prolonged use may cause local burning sensation.
Rarely, ADR < 1/1 000
Gastrointestinal: Causes congestive colitis.

Contraindications
Bibonlax is contraindicated in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of the drug. Notes/ Precautions
Sorbitol is contraindicated in inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and obstructive or semi-obstructive syndrome, abdominal pain syndrome of unknown etiology. Sorbitol is contraindicated in patients with hereditary fructose intolerance (rare metabolic disease). Not to be used in case of biliary tract obstruction. In patients with "irritated colon" avoid taking Sorbitol on an empty stomach and the dose should be reduced. Long-term laxatives should not be used. Treat constipation with Sorbitol only as an adjunct to dietary treatment.

By increasing intestinal motility, any laxative may shorten the transit time of concomitant medications, thereby reducing their absorption.
Storage
Keep in a dry place, temperature from 15 - 30oC, protect from light.
