Uses of Cadirabe

Cadirabe drug is made in the form of hard capsules with the main ingredient being Rabeprazole. The drug is used in the treatment of certain diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

1. What does Cadirabe do?

Each Cadirabe tablet contains 10mg of Rabeprazole sodium and other excipients. Rabeprazole is an inhibitor of H+, K+, -ATPase.
Rabeprazole inhibits gastric acid secretion:
In vitro, Rabeprazole sodium inhibits gastric acid secretion stimulated by dibutyl cyclic AMP in the gastric glands of rabbits; Rabeprazole sodium strongly inhibits pentagastrin- or histamine-stimulated gastric acid secretion in dogs with chronic gastric fistula as well as normal or histamine-stimulated gastric acid secretion in rats. Compared with other proton pump inhibitors, the reversal of antisecretory activity of rabeprazole sodium is more rapid and the increase in blood gastrin levels is lower with that of rabeprazole sodium.
In addition, Rabeprazole sodium has a strong anti-ulcer effect in rats for a variety of ulcers and improves experimental gastric mucosal lesions (stress due to immersion in water, stress due to cold infection, pyloric ligation, etc.). using ethanol-HCl or cysteine).
Cadirabe is used in:
Treatment of duodenal ulcers; Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease; Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Do not use Cadirabe for people who are sensitive to any of the ingredients in the drug or benzimidazole derivatives.

2. How to use and dose of Cadirabe

2.1. How to take Cadirabe drug is used by direct oral administration. Note: Cadirabe enteric-soluble tablets should be swallowed whole; Do not chew, crush or break the tablet. In addition, because the drug is soluble in the intestine, it can be taken with or without food.

For patients who do not heal after 8 weeks of treatment, an additional 8 weeks can be used; Maintenance after healing of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: The recommended oral dose is 20mg/time/day; Treatment of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease: The recommended oral dose is 20mg/time/day x 4 weeks. If complete resolution of symptoms is not achieved after 4 weeks, an additional course of treatment may be used; Healing of duodenal ulcer: The recommended oral dose is 20mg once a day, taken after breakfast with a course of treatment lasting about 4 weeks. Most patients heal a duodenal ulcer within 4 weeks, some patients may need an additional course of treatment to heal the ulcer; Combination of antibiotics in the treatment of people infected with Helicobacter pylori to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence: Using Rabeprazole in combination with antibiotics to destroy Helicobacter pylori; Patients with renal and hepatic impairment: No dose adjustment is required for Cadirabe.
