Uses of Calmezin

Calmezin 300mg drug contains the main active ingredients are Paracetamol 300mg and Chlorpheniramine maleate 3mg. Paracetamol belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and analgesics. The drug has analgesic and antipyretic effects by reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme system. Chlorpheniramine Maleat: is an H1 histamine receptor antagonist. The drug has an anti-histamine effect by inhibiting the H1 receptor. Thanks to that, this active ingredient has the effect of reducing the secretion of nasal discharge and mucus in the upper respiratory tract.

Calmezin medicine is used for people with flu such as: hot fever, headache, joint pain, nasal congestion, especially runny nose, rash, urticaria, cough due to allergies. With two active ingredients in the drug, it helps to completely treat the signs of the disease being encountered, bringing a pleasant feeling to the patient.
Calmezin is contraindicated in the following cases:
People who are sensitive or sensitive to one of the ingredients of the drug. Patients with liver disease cause impaired liver function. People with closed-angle glaucoma, urinary retention due to prostate ureter disorders. Use with caution in patients with renal failure.

Calmezin is made in the form of tablets, suitable for oral use. Treatment dose will depend on each subject, the indicated dose will be different:
For adults: take 1 tablet x 2-3 times/day. For children from 1 to 5 years old: 1/2 tablet x 2 times/day. For children from 6 to 15 years old: 1/2 tablet x 3 times/day.
