3.1. Dosage
For adults (including the elderly): The recommended dosage is 1 capsule 1 time per day. For the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, patients can use it alone or in combination with the alpha blocker tamsulosin (0.4 mg). However, no dose adjustment of dutasteride is required in this patient population. For patients with hepatic impairment: The effect of hepatic impairment on the pharmacokinetics of dutasteride has not been studied. 3.2.
