2.1 Effect Acetylcysteine ​​(N-acetylcysteine) is the N-acetyl derivative of L-cysteine, a natural amino-acid. Acetylcysteine ​​has the effect of reducing respiratory mucus, reducing the viscosity of sputum based on the mechanism of splitting the disulfide bridge in the mucoprotein and facilitating the expulsion of sputum.
Thanks to this mechanism of action, Acetylcysteine ​​is used as an ingredient in drugs to treat pathological conditions with increased mucus secretion very effectively. In addition, Acetylcysteine ​​is also used to protect against hepatotoxicity caused by Paracetamol, by maintaining or restoring hepatic glutathione levels.
2.2 Indications Glotamuc pack is indicated for expectoration in bronchial diseases, lung diseases, viscous mucus diseases, along with other respiratory diseases with thick mucus. In addition, the drug is also indicated for detoxification in cases of Paracetamol poisoning. 2.3 Dosage - Usage Dosage:
Dosage of the drug for children under 2 years old: Use 2 times a day, 1/2 pack each time.
Dosage of the drug for children from 2 to 6 years old: Use 2 times a day, 1 pack each time.
Dosage of the drug for children over 6 years old and adults: Use 3 times a day, 1 pack each time.

How to use:

Symptoms of overdose are similar to those of anaphylaxis (rash, itching, flushing, nausea, vomiting, angioedema, tachycardia, bronchospasm, hypotension...) but much more severe. . Hypotension is the main symptom of overdose. Other symptoms include respiratory failure, hemolysis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and renal failure. Death has occurred in a patient with an overdose of acetylcysteine ​​while being treated for paracetamol poisoning.
Treatment:
Mainly symptomatic treatment.

Besides the effects of the drug, patients treated with Glotamuc 200mg may also experience some unwanted effects such as nausea, vomiting very common; In addition, patients may also experience symptoms of drowsiness, erythema multiforme, urticaria, headache, fever, chills, bronchospasm, but the rate is low and very rare.
In case the patient encounters any strange symptoms that are suspected to be due to the use of the drug, they must immediately report it to the doctor or pharmacist who prescribes the use of this drug for timely handling, to avoid being subjective so that the symptoms become worse. should be more severe or complications may occur

If you have to take tetracycline antibiotics, it must be taken at least 2 hours apart from Glotamuc 200mg.
Do not take with cough medicine, nitrate antiarrhythmic drugs such as Nitroglycerin.
In addition, during the use of the drug, there may be competition or interaction between Glotamuc 200mg with food or other drugs and functional foods.

Contraindications
