Kegefa F topical cream is packaged in a white rectangular box with yellow and brown borders, brown and red text. Aluminum pill tube, inside contains cream.

Kegefa F topical cream has the main effect of antibacterial thanks to the combination of Ketoconazole (antifungal) with the antibiotic Neomycin. The drug has the effect of inhibiting and killing fungi at high temperatures, prolonged use or on very sensitive fungi.
Like other antifungal azole derivatives, Ketoconazole inhibits the activity of cytochrome P450 - the enzyme system required for the formation of fungal cell membranes. When the amount of ergosterol is reduced, it changes the permeability and function of the cell membrane.
Ketoconazole high concentration kills fungi by physicochemical effects on the cell membranes on the mycelium. With the yeast Candida albicans, azole antifungals inhibit the transformation (buds to filaments) of the infective capacity.
Ketoconazole ingredients in Kegefa F have broad-spectrum antifungal effects, on many different fungi such as:
Candida spp; Blastomyces dermatitidis; Coccidioides immitis; Epidermophyton floccosum, Histoplasma capsulatum; Paracoccidioides brasiliensis; Malassezia furfur; Microsporum canis; Trichophyton mentagrophytes; T. rubrum; Several other Gram (+) bacteria. Neomycin contained in Kegefa F is an Aminoglycoside antibiotic with a mechanism and spectrum of action similar to Gentamicin sulfate. When combined with Bacitracin, the drug is effective against most Gram (-) and (+) bacteria causing other diseases. Neomycin is often used to treat sensitive bacteria such as:
Staphylococcus aureus; Escherichia coli (E.coli); Neisseria of all kinds. In addition, Kegefa F is also combined with python fat - folk medicine for burns, water for limbs, cracks... Besides, the use of python fat also helps to accelerate the process of epithelialization, create an elastic surface for the skin, make the wound heal quickly, and soften the skin when the weather is dry.
