2. What are the effects of Lilonton?

3. Dosage of the drug Lilonton

The usual dose of Lilonton is 30-160 mg/kg/day, divided equally 2-4 times/day. Long-term treatment of psychosomatic syndromes in the elderly: Dosage 1.2 - 2.4 g/day, can be increased to 4.8 g/day in the first weeks. Treatment of alcoholism: The recommended dose is 12g/day for the first period of alcohol withdrawal, maintenance treatment at a dose of 2.4g/day. Supportive treatment in case of cognitive impairment after trauma or surgery: Initial dose is 9-12g/day, maintenance dose is 2.4g/day, taken for at least 3 weeks. Sickle cell anemia: The recommended dose is 160 mg/kg/day, divided equally into 4 times. Patients with renal impairment:

6. Notes when using the drug Lilonton


Because Piracetam is eliminated by the kidneys, caution should be exercised when administering the drug to patients with renal impairment. Renal function should be monitored in patients with pre-existing renal impairment and in the elderly. Pregnancy: Piracetam can cross the placenta. Therefore, Lilonton should not be used during pregnancy. Lactation: Piracetam should not be used by women who are breast-feeding.

7. Drug interactions


Concomitant use of Lilonton with some other drugs may cause interactions, change the effectiveness and/or increase the side effects of the drug.
