Nucoxia 90 drug belongs to the group of pain relievers, antipyretics, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, drugs for the treatment of Gout and bone and joint diseases. The drug has the active ingredient Etoricoxib 90mg and other active ingredients.
Nucoxia 90 is prepared in the form of film-coated tablets packed in boxes of 10 blisters x 10 tablets and manufactured at Cadila Healthcare., Ltd - INDIA.

Nucoxia 90 is used in the following cases:
Acute and chronic treatment of signs and symptoms of pain, swelling, osteoarthritis and muscle Ankylosing spondylitis Treatment of acute gouty arthritis (Gout) Relief of acute and chronic pain Primary dysmenorrhea Treatment of moderate pain after short-term dental surgery. Respiratory tract infections, ENT; urinary tract infections, urethritis in men; Skin and soft tissue infections.

Nucoxia 90 is intended for oral use.
Drug dosage:
Osteoarthritis - osteoarthritis: 30mg Etoricoxib or not more than 60mg Etoricoxib once a day. Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: up to 1 dose of 90 mg Etoricoxib/day. Moderate pain after dental surgery: no more than 1 dose of 90 mg Etoricoxib/day and not more than 3 days. Acute gout: Do not use more than a single dose of 120mg Etoricoxib/day, up to 8 days. Acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea: no more than a single dose of 120mg Etoricoxib/day, up to 8 days. In the elderly: no need to adjust the dose of Etoricoxib. Hepatic impairment: Child-Pugh 5-6 should not take more than a single dose of 60mg/day, Child-Pugh 7-9 should reduce the dose to no more than a maximum dose of 60mg/day, possibly 30mg/day. Renal impairment: No dose adjustment of Etoricoxib is required. The dosage of Nucoxia 90 for children has not been studied.

Nucoxia 90 should not be used in the following cases:
Patients who are sensitive to Etoricoxib or any other ingredient in the drug. History of asthma, allergy to aspirin/NSAIDs, urticaria. Congestive heart failure. Patients with persistently uncontrolled hypertension > 140/90 mmHg. Cerebrovascular disease, ischemic heart disease, peripheral artery disease. Child-Pugh ≥ 10 or serum albumin < 25g/L. Gastro-duodenal ulcer Gastrointestinal bleeding. Severe progressive kidney disease. The drug should not be used as combination therapy with other NSAIDs.
