The recommended dosage of the drug is as follows:
For the treatment of persistent complex partial seizures: People over 16 years: Oral starting dose of 1000mg/day in 2 divided doses. Children from 10 to 16 years old: It is recommended to start with 500mg/day in 2 divided doses and gradually increase the dose to 2000mg/day in 2 divided doses. Treatment of spasms in children in the period from 1 month to 2 years: The starting dose is 50mg/kg/day divided into 2 times. Adjust dose after 1 week if necessary. Use in patients with renal impairment: The dose depends on the creatinine clearance at the same time interval.
