3. Instructions for using Shinpoong Shintaxime


Depending on the age and severity of the infection, the doctor will choose the appropriate dose. The recommended dosage is as follows:
In adults:
In case of uncomplicated infections, 1g every 12 hours by intramuscular or intravenous injection. In case of severe infection or in patients with meningitis, a dose of 2g / 6 - 8 hours by intramuscular or intravenous injection. Patients with uncomplicated gonorrhea use a single dose of 1g by intramuscular injection. Prophylaxis of postoperative infection with a dose of 1g by injection 30 minutes before surgery. In children:

Contraindicated to use Shinpoong Shintaxime in cases of patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics, pregnant and lactating women.
Some drugs can cause interactions if used at the same time with Shinpoong Shintaxime including probenecid, fosfomycin, azlocillin.
