Uses of Syseye


Syseye eye drops, whose main ingredient is Hypromellose, is used to treat and relieve discomfort caused by dry eyes and mild irritation in the eyes.

1. What is Syseye?


Syseye or artificial tears is a physiological tear product, containing the ionic components of human tears such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and chloride ions.
Ingredients include Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (hypromellose) which is a water-soluble polymer that can bind to existing tears in the eye to wet the cornea.
Syseye increases the strength of the tear film, thus making the cornea naturally wet. It helps prolong the time tears stay in the eye, although the solution is not highly viscous. It improves corneal wetness and tear film strength.
Syseye relieves symptoms of dry eye by prolonging tear film rupture time and simultaneously increasing tear film stability on ocular surface.

2. Indications of Syseye eye drops


Treatment and relief of discomfort caused by dry eyes in the following cases:
Conjunctivitis, Sjogren's syndrome; Dry eyes with rheumatoid arthritis ; Dry eye disease caused by vitamin A deficiency; During the procedure, Syseye is used to moisten hard contact lenses and lubricate the prosthesis. Temporarily relieves discomfort caused by dry eyes, mild eye irritation in the following cases:
Elderly people; People who have a lot of exposure to computers, televisions, microscopes; Living in an environment polluted by smoke and dust, working for a long time in an air-conditioned room; Regular exposure to sunlight and artificial light sources... Contraindications of the drug:
People who are allergic to any ingredient of the drug.

3. Notes when using drugs


For ocular use only, do not inject or drink. Syseye contains benzalkonium chloride which may cause eye irritation and discolouration of soft contact lenses. Avoid using soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses before using eye drops. Wait at least 15 minutes after taking this medication before inserting contact lenses. Discontinue use and consult an ophthalmologist if headache, eye pain, vision changes, eye irritation, persistent redness or condition worsens or persists for more than 3 days.

4. Dosage and usage


Dosage:
Instill 1-2 drops in each eye, 5-6 times/day or as needed. The number of times per day can be changed according to the instructions of your doctor. How to use:
How to use: Eye drops. Tilt your head back. Place a finger under the eye, gently pull the eyelid down until the lower eyelid and eyeball form a V-shaped bag. Put 1-2 drops in it and gently close the eye. No flicker. Keep your eyes closed for 1 or 2 minutes to allow the medication to penetrate the cornea. To avoid contamination of the dropper and solution, care should be taken not to let the dropper touch the eyelids, surrounding area, or other surfaces. Close the lid after use. Remove contact lenses before use. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

5. Side effects of drugs


Common:
Possible headache, eye pain. Vision change. Eye irritation, persistent eye redness. Uncommon:
Transient stinging or blurred vision. Eye pain, foreign body sensation in the eye, eye irritation, eye redness. Increased intraocular pressure.
