Valsartan is an active substance with specific antagonistic activity to the angiotensin II receptor. Angiotensin II is a potent vasoconstrictor that induces a direct vasopressor response. In addition, angiotensin II enhances salt retention and stimulates aldosterone secretion. Due to its ability to antagonize the angiotensin II receptor, valsartan has antihypertensive effects.
Valsar H 80 is indicated in the following cases:
Treatment of hypertension. Treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II to IV) in patients with conventional therapy such as diuretics, inotropes as well as ACE inhibitors or beta-blockers, in the presence of these therapies standard is not required. For patients with heart failure, Valsar H 80 helps improve the condition, reduce the length of hospital stay for patients. Valsar H 80 also slows the progression of heart failure, slightly reducing the NYHA class of functional heart failure. Valsar H 80 drug works to increase blood pumping capacity, reduce symptoms of heart failure and improve the quality of life for patients. Valsar H 80 is contraindicated in the following cases:
People with hypersensitivity to drug components. Pregnant and lactating women. Lower blood pressure. Severe aortic stenosis. Renal artery stenosis and other lesions cause renal artery stenosis. Valsar H 80 should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment.
