1. Uses of Vespratab 40


What is Vespratab 40? Vespratab 40 contains the active ingredient Esomeprazole 40mg. This medication belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors and works by reducing the amount of acid the stomach produces. Vespratab 40 is used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions associated with excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. In addition, Vespratab 40 is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).
Vespratab may also be used to prevent stomach ulcers caused by infection with the bacteria Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), or as a side effect of using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

2. Dosage and how to use Vespratab 40?


2.1. How to take Vespratab 40 Tablets should be used exactly as directed by your doctor or as directed on the label. Take each dose with a full glass of water. Avoid using with carbonated water, alcohol or stimulants. Vespratab 40mg should be taken at least one hour before meals. The patient should not chew, crush or break the tablet, so swallow the tablet whole.
2.2. Dosage Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers:
Stomach ulcers: 20-40mg/time, for 4 weeks. Duodenal ulcer: 20-40mg/time, for 8 weeks. Then maintain dose 10-20mg/time/day. Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome:
60mg/time/day. After that, the dose can be adjusted according to the symptoms, medical condition and doctor's prescription. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Dosage for erosive reflux esophagitis: 40mg/time/day for 4 weeks. If the symptoms are not resolved, then continue treatment for 4 weeks. Esophagitis has been healed, long-term treatment to prevent recurrence: 20mg / time / day.
Dosage for symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease - oesophagitis: For patients without esophagitis 20mg/time/day. If the symptoms are not resolved, then continue treatment for 4 weeks.
Preventing stomach ulcers caused by using Nsaids: 20mg/time/day.
2.3. What to do if you miss a dose Take the medicine as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as directed. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
2.4. How to handle an overdose Contact the nearest medical center for treatment and treatment.

3. Warning when taking Vespratab 40


Vespratab's active ingredient Esomeprazole can cause kidney problems. If you are urinating less than usual or have blood in your urine, tell your doctor right away. The presence of diarrhea could be a sign of a new infection. If you have watery diarrhea or blood in your stools, call your doctor right away. Vespratab may cause new or worsening symptoms of lupus. 4. What should be noted before taking Vespratab 40mg?


Patients should not use Vespratab when:
You have had breathing problems, kidney problems or a history of serious allergic reactions after taking medicine containing the active ingredient Esomeprazole. You are allergic to the active ingredient Esomeprazole in Vespratab or to medicines with the same active ingredient as Lansoprazole, Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, Rabeprazole, and others. Tell your treating doctor if you have
History of severe liver disease, lupus, osteoporosis or low bone mineral density (osteoporosis), low blood magnesium levels. When you take a proton pump inhibitor long-term or use it more than once per day, you're more likely to break a bone in your wrist, hip, or spine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Vespratab 40.

5. Drugs that may interact with Vespratab 40mg


Vespratab 40mg drug may interact with some of the following drugs: protease inhibitors (Atazanavir, Nelfinavir,...), Methotrexate, Tacrolimus, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Erlotinib, Diazepam, Citalopram, Imipramine, Clomipramine, Phenytoin , Cilostazol, Clopidogrel, Warfarin,...

6. Undesirable effects that occur when taking Vespratab


The undesirable effects when using Vespratab are clinically recorded below. These reactions are not related to the dose of Vespratab.
Common: Nausea, vomiting, flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, headache. Uncommon: Pruritus, dermatitis, urticaria, dry mouth, dizziness. Rare: Increased liver enzymes, more severe anaphylaxis.
