The active ingredient Glucosamine in Atigluco 1500 is an amino-monosaccharide and a raw material for the synthesis of Proteoglycan. When taken into the body, Glucosamine concentrates mainly in bones and joints with the effect of stimulating cartilage cells to produce Proteoglycan and Collagen. Active ingredient Glucosamine simultaneously inhibits enzymes that destroy joint cartilage such as Collagenase, Phospholinase A2 and reduces superoxide free radicals that destroy cartilage cells. In addition, the drug Atigluco 1500 also has other effects such as:
Stimulates the production of bone connective tissue; Limit the processes of calcium loss in bones; Increased production of synovial mucus increases the viscosity and lubricating capacity of synovial fluid.

2. Indications and contraindications of Atigluco 1500


Atigluco 1500 is indicated for patients who need to relieve the symptoms of mild and moderate knee arthritis.
However, Atigluco 1500 is contraindicated in the following cases:
Patients with hypersensitivity to Glucosamine and excipients contained in the product; Atigluco 1500 should not be used in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis; Children under 18 years old, pregnant and lactating patients are not allowed to use Atigluco 1500; In addition, patients with intolerance to sulfur groups should not use Atigluco 1500.

3. Dosage, how to use Glucosamine

There are no special studies on the use of Atigluco in patients with hepatic or renal impairment. 4. Side effects of Atigluco 1500
