2. How to use and dose of Neubatel
Usage: Orally. Neubatel is used as an adjunct to other antiepileptic drugs, which alone may not be effective. The time of taking the drug is not affected by food, so it can be taken at any time of the day. When taking the drug, the patient swallows the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.
Dosage for people from 12 years of age and older with partial seizures: 3 tablets of 300mg (equivalent to 900mg) per day, divided into 3 times a day. The time between using the drug between 2 consecutive times should not exceed 12 hours. The maximum dose is 12 tablets of 300mg per day (equivalent to 3600mg), divided into 3 times / day. The time of using the drug between 2 consecutive times should not exceed 12 hours; Dosage for patients 3 - 12 years old with partial epilepsy: 25-35mg/kg/day every day, divided into 3 times/day; Dosage for people with pain of nerve origin in people aged 18 years and over: 3 tablets of 300mg (equivalent to 900mg) per day, divided into 3 times/day; Dosage for patients with impaired renal function: The dose should be adjusted accordingly. Overdose: When using Neubatel in excess, patients may experience liver and kidney toxicity or experience some symptoms like side effects of the drug. When taking a dose of Gabapentin up to 49g, patients showed diarrhea, lethargy, double vision, drowsiness, and stuttering. Treatment is: Monitor health if symptoms are mild.
