Dr. Phan Nguyen Thanh Binh has more than 15 years of experience in the field of nutrition. She has many scientific articles involving nutrition, lifestyles and health that have been published in the national and international journals.

She is currently Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Vinmec Central Park International Hospital.

  • From January 2000 to September 2007: Doctor at HCMC Nutrition Center:  provide health check, nutrition counseling and treatment, vaccination consultation, implementation of national nutrition programs and nutrition intervention, nutrition training and communication
  • From October 2007 to March 2011: PhD fellowship of Japan Women’s University and Jichi Medical University.
  • From April 2011 to June 2016: As promoted to many key positions in HCMC Nutrition Center such as  Head of General Planning Department and Head of Community Nutrition Department, her duties were:
    • Manage and coordinate National Strategy of Nutrition of HCMC and all nutrition activities of Nutrition Center including nutrition counseling and treatment, management of national nutrition programs and intervention projects, participate in nutrition training and communication, research and international with WHO, Unicef…
    • Other roles included Principal Secretary of National Nutrition Strategy in HCMC, Coordinator of Maternal and Child Survival Program in HCMC (sponsored by UNICEF), lecturer of Nutrition CME Programs and visiting lecturer of University of Agriculture and Forestry HCMC
  • From August 2016 until now: Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Vinmec Central Park International Hospital
