Methods to evaluate immune disorders in the lining of the uterus and specialized regimens are giving hope to mothers who have failed embryo transfer during IVF. This is the first method performed in Vietnam, performed by doctors of Vinmec Fertility Center.

Women who do not have hepatitis B, C and HIV/AIDS have transferred at least 4 blastocyst stage embryos or 6 or more day 3 or 4 embryos without becoming pregnant. After being examined, still could not find other causes of implantation failure such as:

After being assigned to a test to evaluate immune factors, you will be monitored for a cycle similar to the cycle to prepare the lining of the uterus for embryo transfer as follows:
Natural cycle monitoring: Your doctor will watch to make sure your biopsy is in the middle of the luteal phase. Preparation of the lining of the uterus with the use of hormonal drugs: You will be given the hormone oestrogen until an ultrasound scan of the lining of the uterus has an appropriate thickness. Then you are given more Progesteron. Biopsy to take samples for testing will be done after taking Progesteron for about 5 - 6 days, usually day 21 - 24 of the menstrual cycle. The endometrial biopsy will be done at the hospital or in combination with hysteroscopy.

After 2 weeks you will get the result. Test results will assess whether your immune status is normal or disordered. With the results of this immune disorder test, you will be treated according to a separate treatment regimen in the next cycle of embryo transfer. To prepare for a healthy pregnancy, both husband and wife should have a reproductive health checkup 3-5 months before becoming pregnant.
