What is CRL and is gestational sac dissection dangerous?

Ask
Hello doctor! My wife is now 9 weeks pregnant. Going to the doctor, there was an ultrasound of the amniotic sac CRL 26mm, with a layer of 15mm fluid. So the doctor asked me what is CRL and is it dangerous to remove the gestational sac? With the above results, how much is the dissection? Please advise and answer, I sincerely thank you!

Hello! CRL (short for Crown Rump Length) is an index measured in millimeters, representing the length of the fetus from head to bottom. The doctor will use this index to assess the growth rate of the fetus in the mother's womb through ultrasound processes. The percentage of gestational sac dissection is determined by fetal ultrasound. Depending on the extent to which the sonographer assesses the severity of the disease.
Through the above answer, can you understand what CRL is and is it dangerous to remove the gestational sac? If you need more in-depth advice, you can take your wife to specialized medical facilities or hospitals under Vinmec Health System for specialist doctors to advise and provide timely treatment.
