2. Instructions for using Dexpanthenol


How to use Dexpanthenol cream:
Apply the drug 1-2 times a day, gently rub it on the skin to make it easy to absorb. Specific usage is as follows:
Newborns: Apply a thin layer of the drug to the diaper rash area after daily use of the toilet and after each diaper change. Breastfeeding mothers: After nursing, the mother applies a thin layer of medicine to the nipples, gently rubs and then wipes the area where the medicine is applied before breastfeeding again. Mild burns: Clean the affected area and then apply a thick layer of medicine on it. Prevention and treatment of sunburn: Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the sunburned skin. How to use Dexpanthenol injection/tablet:
Adults: The first week inject 3 times x 1-2 syringes intramuscularly or intravenously. Use 1 course for 6 weeks and then switch to taking 3 pills a day for 2 months.
Children: Strictly follow the doctor's instructions.
Note:

3. Side effects of drugs

4. Notes when using drugs

If the patient's abdomen is very distended, an air tube should be placed. Dexpanthenol may prolong bleeding time and should be used with caution in patients at risk of bleeding or with hemophilia. Reactions may occur if Dexpanthenol injection is used concurrently with antibiotics, anesthetics, barbiturates,... Do not use Dexpanthenol injected directly intravenously Do not use Dexpanthenol injection within 1 hour after use succinylcholine. With Dexpanthenol topical cream:
Avoid contact with eyes. Children taking Dexpanthenol should be supervised by an adult. Breastfeeding women when using the drug on the nipples need to clean the skin before feeding the baby. Before taking Dexpanthenol, the patient should:
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Dexpanthenol, other ingredients of the drug or other forms of allergies. Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or intend to take.
