2. How to use Ed-Spaz


Place the medicine on your tongue, let it quickly dissolve and then swallow it all. You can take Ed-Spaz with or without water. Ed-Spaz dosage is calculated based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Do not increase your dose or take Ed-Spaz more often than prescribed without consulting your doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and older should not take more than 1.5 milligrams of Ed-Spaz in 24 hours. Children 2 to 12 years of age should not take more than 0.75 milligrams of Ed-Spaz in 24 hours. Antacids reduce the body's absorption of hyoscyamine. If you use antacids, take them after meals and take hyoscyamine before meals; or take an antacid at least 1 hour after taking hyoscyamine. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ed-Spaz unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens after using Ed-Spaz. Treatment for digestive disorders may include lifestyle changes such as a stress reduction program, exercise, smoking cessation, and dietary changes to increase the effectiveness of Ed-Spaz.

3. Ed-Spaz . side effects


While using Ed-Spaz, you may experience dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, headache, trouble sleeping, constipation, flushing, dry skin, and decreased sweating. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor right away.
To relieve dry mouth while using Ed-Spaz, suck on hard candy (sugar-free) or shaved ice, chew gum (sugar-free), you can also drink water or use a saliva substitute.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed Ed-Spaz because he or she has judged that the benefit to you outweighs the risk of side effects. Many people use Ed-Spaz without any serious side effects.

Ed-Spaz may contain aspartame. If you have phenylketonuria (PKU) or any other condition where you must limit your intake of aspartame (or phenylalanine), consult your doctor on how to safely use Ed-Spaz.
Ed-Spaz can make you dizzy, drowsy or blurred your vision, and alcohol and marijuana can make these symptoms worse. Do not drive, use machines, or do anything that requires alertness or clear vision while you are using Ed-Spaz, until you can do these tasks safely. Limit alcohol and absolutely do not use marijuana while being treated with Ed-Spaz.
Ed-Spaz may increase the risk of heatstroke because it reduces sweating. Avoid letting your body overheat in hot weather, saunas, and during exercise or other strenuous activity.
Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of Ed-Spaz, especially confusion, drowsiness, unusual excitement, constipation, and difficulty urinating. Confusion and drowsiness can increase the risk of falls.
Children may be more sensitive to the effects of Ed-Spaz.
Ed-Spaz should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits of the drug with your doctor. Ed-Spaz passes into breast milk, so women who are breast-feeding should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

5. Ed-Spaz drug interactions


Drug interactions can change the way Ed-Spaz works or increase your risk of serious side effects. Make a list of all the medications you take (including prescription/nonprescription drugs and herbal products) and share it with your doctor. Do not start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine while you are using Ed-Spaz, without your doctor's approval.

6. What to do if you overdose or forget to use Ed-Spaz?


If you or someone else has overdosed on Ed-Spaz and has severe symptoms such as fainting or difficulty breathing, call 911 immediately. Symptoms of an Ed-Spaz overdose may include hot/dry skin, fever, unusual excitement, fast/irregular heartbeat, seizures.
If you miss a dose of Ed-Spaz, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose of Ed-Spaz, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose of Ed-Spaz at the usual time, do not double your usual dose.

7. How to Store Ed-Spaz . Medicines


Store Ed-Spaz at room temperature of 77 degrees F (25 degrees C), away from light and moisture. Allowed for short-term storage between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C). Do not store Ed-Spaz in the bathroom, keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Do not flush Ed-Spaz down the toilet or down the drain unless instructed to do so. Dispose of this medication appropriately when it has expired or is no longer needed.
