Forfivo: Uses, indications and precautions when using

Currently, depression can be considered as one of the silent diseases but with extremely serious consequences. To avoid dangerous complications, Forfivo has been licensed to assist in the treatment of this disease.

By restoring the balance of certain natural hormones such as dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain, Forfivo is commonly used to treat depression. Forfivo may also be indicated to prevent seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a type of depression that occurs every year at the same time (eg during winter). In addition, this drug has the potential to improve your mood and sense of well-being.

Patients need to carefully read the doctor's instructions before taking or re-using Forfivo. Usually, Forfivo is tolerated orally, once daily in the morning. If you have an upset stomach, you can take it with or after breakfast/snack. In case you take this medicine at the end of the day it may cause trouble sleeping.
Note users do not crush or chew tablets. Doing so can release all of the medication at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Therefore, swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing, or dividing the tablet.
The dose of Forfivo is based on your medical condition, liver function, and response to treatment. Patients absolutely should not increase the dose, reduce the dose or use this drug more often, for longer than indicated.

Before taking Forfivo, tell your doctor if you:
Are allergic to the drug, its ingredients; or any other allergies. Have a medical history especially of: Diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney problems, liver disease, drug/alcohol use/abuse, seizures or conditions that increase the risk of seizures (including including brain/head injury, brain tumor, eating disorders such as bulimia/anorexia nervosa), personal or family history of glaucoma (angle-closure type). All products you use (including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and herbal products). Forfivo should not be used if you are taking sedatives (including benzodiazepines such as lorazepam), anticonvulsants, or alcohol because this can increase the risk of seizures.
Forfivo may make you dizzy. Therefore, do not drive, use machines, or do anything that requires alertness until you can do it safely.
During pregnancy, this medicine should be used only when clearly needed. If you are planning to become pregnant, are pregnant or breast-feeding, discuss with your doctor right away the benefits and risks of using Forfivo.

Not all Forfivo users experience side effects. When starting to use the drug, the patient should listen to the smallest changes in the body. Please contact a medical facility if you experience some typical side effects such as:
Dry mouth, sore throat, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, headache, loss of appetite, weight loss, apple constipation, trouble sleeping, increased sweating, or tremors. There is an increase in blood pressure. Check your blood pressure regularly and let your doctor know if there is a change. Fast/pounding/irregular heartbeat, mental/mood changes (such as anxiety, agitation, confusion, unusual thinking/behavior, memory loss), unusual weight loss or gain. Convulsions, eye pain/swelling/redness, pupil dilation, vision changes (such as seeing rainbows around lights at night, blurred vision). Serious allergic reaction, including: Rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), soreness in the mouth/around the eyes, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, especially dizziness and memory loss. Dizziness can increase the risk of falling

Drug interactions can change the way Forfivo works or increase the risk of serious side effects. As this article cannot cover all possible drug interactions. Therefore, keep a list of all the products you use (including prescription/over-the-counter drugs and herbal products) and talk to your doctor before using Forfivo. Do not start, stop, or change the dose of any medication without your doctor's approval.
Some products that may interact with Forfivo include: codeine, pimozide, tamoxifen, thioridazine.
Patients taking an MAO inhibitor with this medicine can cause a serious (possibly fatal) drug interaction. Avoid taking MAO inhibitors (isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, safinamide, selegiline, tranylcypromine) during treatment with Forfivo. Most MAO inhibitors should also not be taken for two weeks before and after treatment with Forfivo.
This medicine may interfere with certain medical tests (including brain scans for Parkinson's disease, urine amphetamine tests), causing false positives in test results.
