Otilin nasal drops are prepared in the form of a colorless and odorless solution, with a slightly salty and bitter taste. The drug's main ingredient is Xylometazolin hydrochloride at 0.05% concentration.

Otilin nasal drops and spray are used in the treatment to relieve the following symptoms:
Nasal congestion, relieve nasal congestion caused by sinusitis, acute or chronic rhinitis, upper respiratory allergies, colds , flu, otitis media or headache. Reduce swelling, easy to observe the nasal mucosa and pharynx before surgery or diagnostic procedure. Helps to unclog blocked eustachian tubes in patients with ear infections. Instilled into the conjunctiva of the eye to help relieve conjunctival congestion.

Dosage of Otilin nasal drops is as follows:
Children under 6 years old: Do not use. Children from 6 to 12 years old: Instill 1-2 drops in each nostril, about 1-2 times a day, do not use more than 5 days without consulting a doctor. Children over 12 years old and adults: Instill 1-2 drops in each nostril, about 2-3 times a day, do not use more than 7 days. Note, after opening the lid, the shelf life is not more than 28 days.

The use of Otilin nasal drops can cause some side effects, but those symptoms are usually mild, not serious. Some common but transient side effects such as:
Common side effects: Local irritation, exposed nasal mucosa, dry nasal mucosa. With long-term use, congestive reactions may reappear.
