Uses of Axogurd

The drug is used for 2 main purposes:
Treatment of neuropathic pain of central or peripheral origin, generalized anxiety disorder in adults. Adjunctive treatment of partial seizures with or without generalization in adults. Pregabalin helps to prevent convulsions and relieve pain caused by nerve damage. The drug is excreted mainly in the urine as unchanged drug.

3. Instructions for using Axogurd


Should take the drug with water, can be taken on an empty stomach or when full because the effect of the drug is not affected by food. Take Axogurd tablets whole, do not chew them.
Reference dosage is as follows:
Usually 150-600mg per day, divided into 2 or 3 times. Pain of neurogenic origin: Start with 150mg daily in 2 or 3 divided doses. After 3-7 days, it can be increased to 300mg daily depending on the patient's tolerability and response. If necessary, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 600 mg after the next 7 days. The dose may be increased to a maximum of 600mg daily after 1 week thereafter, Generalized Anxiety Disorder: Start at 150mg daily.
