2. How to use Bactamox and dosage


Dosage of Bactamox 375:
For adults: take 1 pack/time, 3 times a day.
For children over 40kg in weight, the dose is the same as for adults.
For children under 40kg:
In case of moderate and mild infections: dose calculated according to body weight 20mg/kg/day, divided into 3 times a day when taken orally. In case of severe infection, the dose should be increased to 40mg/kg/day, also divided into 3 small doses and used in a row for 5 days, the disease will be relieved quickly. The drug is well absorbed orally, stable to the stomach, so it has a good effect before or after meals. Note, for maximum absorption of Bactamox, the drug should be mixed with filtered water, fruit juice or milk.

3. Bactamox 375 . side effects


Based on clinical frequency, side effects of Bactamox 375 are divided into 3 main groups: common, uncommon and rare.
Common side effects: gastrointestinal disturbances causing diarrhea, rash appears with itching.
Uncommon side effects: patients may have hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice, rash, vomiting, nausea, eosinophilia...
Anaphylaxis rarely occurs. In addition, some rare undesirable effects in people taking bactamox drugs such as quincke edema, hemolytic anemia, erythema, exfoliative dermatitis, pseudomembranous colitis, skin necrosis, leukopenia. ..

4. Notes when using Bactamox 375

Bactamox is an antibiotic, so it should not be used for a long time. Continuous long-term use will cause resistance similar to other antibiotics, and prolong blood clotting time and bleeding.
