1. What is Dovalga EF?


Dovalga EF belongs to the group of pain relievers and antipyretics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, with the main ingredients being Paracetamol 325mg and Tramadol hydrochloride 37.5mg. Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects similar to Aspirin and can be used to replace Aspirin, but has no anti-inflammatory effect. Tramadol has a central analgesic effect.

2. How to use and dose Dovalga EF

3. Side effects of the drug Dovalga EF

4. Some notes when using Dovalga EF


Do not use Dovalga EF in people with hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug, women who are breastfeeding. Do not drive or operate or operate machinery while taking this medicine, as Dovalga EF may cause dizziness. Concomitant administration of Dovalga EF with SSRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, opioids, MAOIs, sedatives or drugs that lower the seizure threshold may increase the risk of seizures. People with epilepsy, history or risk factors for convulsions should use caution when taking Dovalga EF because it also increases the risk of seizures. Use of high doses of Dovalga EF together with alcohol, anesthetics, local anesthetics or people with risk factors for respiratory depression should be used with caution. Patients with renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 30ml/min should not take more than 2 Dovalga EF tablets/day, 12 hours apart. Concomitant administration of Dovalga EF with Carbamazepine may increase the metabolism of Tramadol and lead to a decrease in its analgesic effect. Concomitant administration of Dovalga EF with Quinidine may increase the concentration of Tramadol; with substances of the group Warfarin can increase the blood-clotting effect; with CYP2D6 inhibitors may limit the metabolism of Tramadol. The use of Dovalga EF is to relieve pain and reduce fever, especially for moderate to severe pain relief due to the combination of Tramadol and Paracetamol.
