2. Uses and indications of Forair 250

Forair 250 is indicated in the following cases:
Treatment of chronic asthma in both children and adults, combined treatment with bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroids. Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Chronic bronchitis. Emphysema . Uses - Mechanism of Forair:
Salmeterol is a long-acting and highly selective beta-2 sympathomimetic agonist with a long chain that binds to the outer surface of the receptor, producing bronchodilator effect. Fluticasone propionate contains potent anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid activity in the lungs, reducing symptoms and exacerbations of asthma, and with fewer side effects when systemic corticosteroids are used. Forair is prepared in the form of aerosol, the bronchodilator effect appears after 2-3 minutes, maximum from 5 to 15 minutes and lasts 3-4 hours. Forair is excreted in the urine within 24 hours, with a half-life of 3.8 hours. Forair in the form of an aerosol can be used in patients with hyperthyroidism, cardiac arrhythmias, coronary circulatory disorders, hypertension, diabetes, and patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

3. Dosage, how to use Forair 250

How to use: Hold spray bottle upright with index finger and thumb, shake well. The patient exhales evenly and puts the spray bottle in the mouth, between the teeth. Then close the mouth of the spray bottle with your lips, do not bite, tilt your head slightly back, inhale slowly and evenly, and press one dose while continuing to inhale evenly and deeply. Finally remove the inhaler, hold the breath for at least 10 seconds or as long as it feels comfortable, and exhale slowly.
