Lamozit is indicated for use in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in patients with a history of hepatitis B virus replication and in combination with Zidovudine for the treatment of HIV in adults and children over 3 months of age.

3. How to use Lamozit


Treatment of hepatitis B at an adult dose of 100 mg/day. Children over 12 years of age use a weight-based dose of 3mg/kg. The maximum dose is 100mg/day. In cases of renal failure, the dose should be adjusted to be reasonable. Treatment of HIV in combination with Zidovudine: Adults use a dose of 150mg / time x 2 times / day, when using Zidovudine 600mg / day divided into 2-3 times. Children use dose 4mg/kg/time x 2 times/day. The maximum dose is 300mg/day when combined with Zidovudin 360 - 720mg/day in divided doses.
