Drugs that can cause interactions with Lavezzi 10 include:
Diuretics: Patients taking diuretics (especially new users) may experience an excessive drop in blood pressure after starting treatment. treatment with Benazepril; Antihypertensive drugs: Concomitant use with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors such as Lavezzi 10 may produce an additive hypotensive effect. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (especially Indomethacin): May produce an antagonism to the antihypertensive effect of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors by inhibiting renal prostaglandin synthesis and/or causing sodium and water retention. ; Co- (host) sympathomimetic drugs: Concomitant use may reduce the antihypertensive effect of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors; Potassium supplements and potassium-sparing diuretics: The active ingredient benazepril may reduce the potassium content of thiazide diuretics. Potassium-sparing diuretics (such as Spironolactone, Triamteren, Amiloride, and others) and potassium supplements may increase the risk of hyperkalemia. Lithium: Concomitant use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors during lithium treatment may increase blood lithium levels and increase the risk of lithium toxicity.
