1. What is the effect of Magnevist?

Magnevist contains Dimeglumine Gadopentetate as the active ingredient. The drug is prepared in the form of a solution for injection in a 10ml vial. Uses of the drug Magnevist include:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain and spinal cord. Take full-body magnetic resonance imaging. MRI for children < 2 years old.

2. Dosage and usage of the drug Magnevist

The dose of Magnevist is 0.2mL/kg. If a lesion is suspected despite a normal contrast-enhanced MRI, an additional 0.2mL or even 0.4mL/kg injection should be given within 30 minutes of the scan to enhance the diagnosis.
