1. What is Pitator 2mg?


Pitator 2mg contains active ingredient Pitavastatin 2mg is a statin medicine used to improve high or abnormally high blood cholesterol levels. Pitator reduces very low density lipoprotein levels by inhibiting cholesterol biosynthesis in the liver.

2. In which cases is Pitator 2mg indicated?


Pitator 2mg is indicated as an adjunct to diet in the following cases:
Primary hyperlipidemia. Mixed dyslipidemia.

3. How to use Pitator to be effective?


How to use:
Can be taken at any time of the day because the absorption of Pitator is not affected by food. Take it at the same time every day to prevent forgetting. It should be taken with a full glass of water, preferably warm water. Use the drug in combination with a diet that limits fat and cholesterol. Pitator should be used when blood lipid levels cannot be controlled by diet, exercise and weight control measures. You may need to stop using Pitator for a short time if you have: uncontrolled seizures, an electrolyte imbalance (such as high or low potassium levels in your blood), severely low blood pressure serious illness, infection or illness, dehydration, surgery, or medical emergency. Pitator should only be used with a doctor's prescription. Do not self-medicate without consulting your doctor. Dosage depends on the medical condition of each patient and should be used as directed by the treating physician. You can refer to the following dose:
Adults: Dose 1-2 mg/time/day. Maximum dose 4mg/day. After 4 weeks of using Pitator, the dose needs to be adjusted depending on each person's response. Patients with renal failure: Dose 1mg/time/day. 4. Undesirable effects occur when using Pitator 2mg

This list may not be exhaustive. Other drugs may affect Pitator, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. 6. Precautions before using Pitator 2mg?


You should not use Pitator 2mg if you are allergic to Pitavastatin or any of its ingredients or if you have: liver disease (including abnormal liver enzyme tests), if you are pregnant or breastfeeding breast-feeding, if you are taking Cyclosporine. Do not use Pitator if you are pregnant as it may harm an unborn baby. To prevent pregnancy during treatment, use effective birth control. If you become pregnant stop taking this medicine immediately and tell your doctor. Do not breast-feed while you are taking Pitator. Tell your doctor if you have ever had: kidney disease, liver disease, thyroid disorder, if you drink large amounts of alcohol. Pitator can cause breakdown of muscle tissue, which can lead to kidney failure. In the elderly or in patients with kidney disease or poorly controlled hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), muscle breakdown occurs more frequently.
