2.1 Indications Tartriakson is indicated for the treatment of the following infections:
Respiratory tract infections Skin and soft tissue infections Urinary tract infections Gonorrhea Bacteremia Bone and joint infections Intra-abdominal infections Meningitis marrow Borreliosis Prophylaxis of post-operative infections. Tartriakson can be used by:

Infection dangerously severe: daily dose 80mg/kg body weight Meningitis: dose 100mg/kg body weight (maximum 1 day is 4g) Children > 50kg: use the same dose as adults. / or hepatic impairment: No dose adjustment is required in patients with impaired liver function kidneys indicate normal liver function. In patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min): the daily dose of ceftriaxone should be limited to 2 g. Patients with hepatic impairment with normal renal function: No dosage adjustment is required. Patients with concomitant liver and kidney failure: should be adjusted accordingly, the dose should not exceed 2g per day. Patients on dialysis: serum drug levels should be monitored periodically, taking into account the risk of delayed drug excretion. No additional antibiotics are required during dialysis. 2.3 Overdose and management There is no specific antidote. Symptomatic treatment of overdose Peritoneal dialysis/Hemodialysis: no effect on serum drug concentration
