Femring Ring contains a female hormone (estrogen). This product is used by women to help relieve symptoms of menopause (such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness). Read the instructions for use from your doctor carefully before you start using Femring Ring and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions about how to use Femring Ring, ask your doctor. Wash and dry your hands before handling the Femring Ring. Insert the ring into the vagina as directed. The Femring Ring is usually left in place for 3 months, then removed and replaced with a new ring if continued treatment is required. Do not leave a Femring Ring in place for longer than 3 months. Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medicine because they have judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this product have had no serious side effects.

If you develop a vaginal infection while using this ring, you can leave the ring in place while the infection is treated.
Femring Ring must not be used during pregnancy. Femring Ring passes into breast milk. It can reduce the quality and quantity of breast milk produced. Women who are breastfeeding should consult their doctor before using this product.

Drug interactions can change the way Femring Ring works or increase your risk of serious side effects. Some drugs that may interact with Femring Ring include: aromatase inhibitors (such as anastrozole, exemestane, letrozole), fulvestrant, ospemifene, raloxifene, tamoxifen, tamoxifen, tranexamic acid.
